Role Description / Areas of responsibility:
- Manage internal coordination of interactions with US Regulators. Support supervisory examinations as a central contact for Risk management.
- Strong understanding of the all the Risk Management functions, that includes Market, Credit , Operation risk management, and also the key concepts/metrics involved
- Interpreting regulations and communicating with the US Regulators, and manage local regulatory requirements that impact risk
- Management of remediation associated with regulatory model approval or examinations.
- Leverage strong foundation of various risk concepts to manage delivery of business mandatory risk related changes
- Good communication skills and understanding of key risk business processes to support presentation of complex topics to senior management.
- Interprets Regulatory and providing strategic business requirements in conjunction with various Risk stakeholders to manage scoping of business requirements and delivery
- Collaborate with various functions within Risk and outside of Risk to keep abreast of the changes in laws, rules and regulations
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required
- Masters, in either Finance, Economics, Engineering or Business
- At least 10-15 years of risk management experience
- Strong Analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written/verbal must.
- Understanding of financial products.
- Strong team player.
- Experience working with various stakeholders including IT, Change management etc. would be advantageous
