Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.

Development of strong working relationships with HR specialists and analytics colleagues regionally and globally to build and enhance reporting functionality and delivery of insights

Work with local colleagues to understand nuances of HR reporting and data usage

Creative and proactive in providing people analytics and related metrics, as well as in constructing analytical tools (e.g. dashboards) for use by HR Advisors and business managers

Compensation Analytics for any given population

Managing the operational delivery of compensation year-end
o
Managing projects like Year-end, Market Data, Repricing, Salary Grid review
o
Collaborate and liaise with various parties mostly within HR to ensure projects are delivered smoothly.

Regulatory and Governance processes particularly in EMEA

Input into Material Risk Taker identification and documentation

Process documentation

Regulatory reporting

Public remuneration disclosures

Other administrative tasks

Understanding and supporting the development of People Analytics datasets from the underlying HR source systems and other related data sources

Provide support, reporting and insight on various monthly and ad-hoc HR processes, identifying opportunities for consolidation across different requests
