Role description:

The solution sales would report into the Head of Switzerland Solution Sales and will work closely with the other Switzerland Solution Sales colleagues. The candidate will be tasked with originating and executing transactions for the Solutions business targeting Swiss Institutional Clients and Family Offices.

The role holder will have access to a vast array of structured solutions (including tailored solutions): structured credit, rates, hybrid and equity solutions, QIS asset side and hedging solutions, bespoke financing solutions of any type of illiquid asset class but also equity financing solutions (margin loans against single stocks, NAV financing etc), structured funds solutions.

The candidate will be able to develop the Institutional Clients franchise within the region of coverage (Pension Funds, Insurances, Corporates, Banks and Asset Managers), maintain client relationships while understanding clients’ investment needs/requirements/risk appetite and will help driving the business strategy into that space.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
Essential

Strong experience/track-record in Solutions Sales across asset class.

Equity & QIS Solutions background and familiar with equity derivatives is a plus.

Proven ability to manage complex timelines, given that the business is deal driven, often against tight deadlines and the role will involve working closely with the underwriting desk (including trading, structuring and control functions) on execution/closing of transactions (to ensure seamless product delivery).

Ability to articulate and able to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally (e.g. client origination), excellent presentation abilities.

In-depth knowledge of structured products and financial markets.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills together with commercial mindset.

Capacity to understand clearly client needs/risk appetite and focus towards providing a viable solution for the client.
