Department Overview
Nomura's Global Markets department offers clients worldwide liquidity, market insights, and execution services across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities. Job Responsibilities
• Work closely with North Asia and South East Asia Sales team with primary focus on Chinese Corporates in Singapore
• Develop and maintain potential and existing Corporate client relationships of the firm
• Provide pre-trade pricing for clients and after sales service for cross assets products
• Marketing trade ideas, solutions, and firm’s capabilities to clients
• Preparation of market commentary, client reports and presentations for the team
• Work closely with trading, structuring, operations as well as Legal, CRM and AML/KYC teams to ensure smooth execution of trades and timely resolution of any problems arises.
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a Sales capacity at a bank
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Sales
• Minimum of 2 years of solution sales or advisory experience covering Singapore corporates
• Ability to work with different teams including structuring and trading.
• Excellent presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
