Role Description

 

The Business Manager will be responsible for supporting the International Wealth Management product desks including Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Funds, CIO & DPM, Nomura Trust, and One Bank Solutions, and drive new business and operational initiatives.

 

You will work closely with cross-functional teams in enhancing our product offerings and driving business growth to deliver high-quality, client-centric solutions and enhance our competitive position in the market.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of product strategies across all wealth management desks, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and enhancements, ensuring competitive positioning and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, trading, compliance, and operations, to ensure seamless product delivery and integration across all business lines.
  • Work closely with relationship managers and clients to understand their needs and preferences, leveraging insights to tailor product offerings and improve client satisfaction.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and profitability, implementing necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
  • Ensure that all product offerings adhere to local and international regulations, managing risk effectively while meeting client needs.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in product management within International Wealth Management or Global Markets.
  • Experience in financial products, including equities, fixed income, FX, funds, CIO & DPM and trust services.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks pertinent to wealth management in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region
  • Advanced numeracy skills and experience in developing macros, proficiency in computer programming (e.g. python) to streamline processes and improve efficiency 
  • Experience in developing and executing successful product strategies that drive business growth.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong understanding of market dynamics and client requirements.
  • Experience in liaising with control functions, auditors, regulators and senior management in representing the business
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
