Role description:
Responsibility

You will be part of leadership team to provide Production Services Support to the International Wealth Management businesses for a wide range of core wealth banking platforms and applications. 
This role involves driving operational excellence, managing incidents, coordinating with development teams, and implement best practices for production support. 
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skill and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. 
He/she will have a forward thinking, strategic attitude with the ability to proactively identify trends, resolve issues and drive continual improvement through innovative technologies.

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

•    Degree holder minimum 10 years of experience with at least 3 years’ experience in Production Support management role.
•    Minimum 3 years’ of experience in Avaloq Banking System a must
•    Hands on experience in Oracle 19c, MSSQL, UNIX and Windows operating environments and strong experience of working with Unix based applications - ability to write scripts and work on automation
•    Previous experience working on MarginMan System is optional
•    The ability to analyse and support trade information, instrument setup, market data, price valuation, client statement from various platform is essential.
•    Experience with electronic trading applications that have FIX connectivity to external trading application such as Bloomberg to send/retrieve information.
•    Demonstrate strong leadership skills being able to provide direction to numerous and diverse teams in a fast paced environment. Motivating teams to adopt best practices both in their work their team’s performance.
•    Naturally take ownership of issues and projects and be the type of person who doesn’t avoid challenges. Confident with adhering to procedure and resilience when faced with demanding clients.

•    Have a problem solving mind set with the ability to review service availability, performance and stability, and proactively identifying service trends and taking the appropriate actions to resolve service related issues.
•    Take ownership of issues and see through to completion as well as diligently managing end-to-end Change/Release processes across the wealth management systems.
•    Be able to diagnose and effectively communicate/escalate incidents and problems to senior management with confidence.
•    Be able to build strong, collaborative relationships with the business, application development teams, Infrastructure and other functional groups globally.  
•    Customer focused with gravitas and professionalism.  Ability to influence our stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
•    Experience in the role of coach/mentor to junior members of the Production Services team to cultivate junior talent.
•    Be an excellent communicator and listener.
 

Preferred:
•    Completed Avaloq Certification training
•    ITIL v3 or similar qualifications
•    Knowledge of market data and financial models will be advantage
•    Practical understanding of FIX protocol
•    Understanding on cloud operations, microservices, python/perl and excel skill
•    Communicates well & across all levels 
•    Demonstrate basic financial understanding in FX/MM/Equity/Derivatives and associated front to back operational workflow
