Role Description

Reporting to the Head of FX Advisory, the FX Advisor will be at the forefront of delivering innovative foreign exchange solutions, from traditional cash products to complex derivatives and structured notes. You'll work collaboratively across teams to enhance client penetration, develop new product offerings, and build direct client relationships in the dynamic Singapore market.

 

You will provide expert guidance and strategies in foreign exchange trading and risk management for our clients, recommending FX product ideas including cash, derivatives and structured notes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement FX trading strategies tailored to client needs and market conditions
  • Increase wealth management clients’ activity and penetration in FX
  • Collaborate and work closely with Relationship Managers, Investment Advisors in driving and growing FX business
  • Constantly engage with Relationship Managers and clients to understand their product and investment needs, roll out new FX products and ideas.
  • Responsible for FX direct client coverage and grow the FX direct access client base
  • To work closely with Risk and Control team to ensure proper control, periodic monitoring activities and timely resolution of any risk issues

 

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in finance or business from an accredited University
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in foreign exchange trading and advisory covering cash, derivatives and structured products within Private Bank or Global Markets
  • Experience in FX instruments, markets dynamics and trading platforms, with specific experience in options trading and Greeks
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing complex FX data, including Greek metrics, and applying insights to support informed trading and risk management decisions
  • Experience in developing successful trading strategies and managing client accounts
  • Proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders, with experience in delivering client-focused advisory solutions.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment tools
  • Experience with regulatory requirements in the FX market.
