Role Description
The Business Manager, Product Owner will be responsible for leading our initiatives in the Avaloq and client experience areas within the front office domain. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of technology automation requirements and the ability to translate these into actionable Business Requirements (BRDs). As a key player in our organization, you will collaborate closely with technology teams and domain business sponsors to ensure alignment with our business strategy and effectively prioritize initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to understand technology automation needs from the front office and translate them into clear and concise business requirements documents (BRDs).
- Work closely with technology teams to ensure the successful delivery of product features and enhancements, facilitating communication between business and technical stakeholders.
- Partner with relevant domain business sponsors to prioritize initiatives based on business strategy, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the product roadmap, ensuring it reflects the strategic direction and priorities of the organization.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and updates to relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across all levels of the organization.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, gathering feedback for continuous improvement and optimization of the client experience.
- Lead change management initiatives related to product enhancements, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
Requirements
- Degree from a university is required at a minimum
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in product management or product ownership position with a strong focus on front office technology solutions and client experience in the Banking industry.
- Experience in Avaloq and its functionalities, with knowledge of translating technical requirements into business outcomes.
- Experience in developing and executing successful product strategies that drive business growth.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong understanding of market dynamics and client requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
