Function Overview
Information Technology division supports the dynamic financial business through the development of a strategic initiatives. IT partners with the businesses to develop, implement and support sophisticated trading systems and middle, back office systems through the use of state of the art technology. 
The role will be reporting to the Head of IT - AeJ and will be part of the AEJ Technology management team. The incumbent is expected to provide strategic technology leadership towards various complex projects rollouts, lead and drive various newer technology solutions to support the IWM business growth, whilst continuing to control operational risks and costs.

Responsibilities
•    Lead and drive the overall technology strategy of wealth management platform buildout.   Align to business strategy including developing system design solutions, buy vs build decisions – drive complex projects deliveries such as Avaloq upgrades, digital solutions and so on
•    Deliver target operating model; lead and drive solution feasibility analysis, project effort sizing and achieve minimum or no deviation to overall technology roadmap
•    Act as trusted advisor within team to provide specialist knowledge, technology expertise and necessary strategic guidance to all application managers
•    Be a part of the technology management team; Manage and mitigate risks arising from various areas
•    Partner with Corporate stakeholders - Operations, Investments, Front office, CAOs, HR and other seniors 
•    Understand the firm’s Group Cloud, Outsourcing and Vendor Management practices and take these into account when reviewing their technology domain use cases
•    Prepare management technology presentations including business plans, business reviews, and presentations to senior management

Requirements 
•    Minimum Masters in computer science, computer engineering or information systems
•    An experienced technology leader with proven track record of managing teams; handled large scale complex initiatives preferably in wealth management domain
•    Strong understanding of all business product flows and life cycles – FX, Equity, MM, Cash including complex products like Str. Products, OTC Derivatives and Funds.
•    Should partner with business to support the business strategy aligning development of technology / platform strategy
•    Excellent communication skill and stakeholder management; Ability to network and partner with key stake holders
•    Prefer an Avaloq certified professional or solid experience in Avaloq core banking 
•    Strong in Cloud architectures including digital solutions covering UI/UX frameworks 
•    Strong in AWS, Java, RHEL, Window server, AD, Citrix, Oracle, MS SQL
•    Has leadership mind; Proactive and motivated
