Job Title: Proprietary Trader

Key Highlights

Join a desk of senior traders who bring a wealth of knowledge from trading through multiple market cycles. The environment is open in terms of discussing trades, positions, and ideas. The desk continues to build a broad set of models for identifying market opportunities, these are shared between PMs. The desk also has dedicated quantitative support which works on trade ideas which interest the PMs

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate trading ideas through combination of in house research, technical indicators, and other supporting desks
• Design trading models using internal systems
• Generate trading profits that support the firm business
• Conduct fundamental research and financial analyses on the results to execute optimal investments
• Conduct market research and analysis to plan trading strategies, as well as assess and manage risk
• Review and validate periodic PnL statements

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 8 years of Asia trading experience within Financial Institutions (Banks or Hedge Funds).
• Minimum 6 years of Marco trading experience across Rates and FX products.
• Minimum 6 years of experience trading in G10 and Emerging Market.
• Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute innovative trading strategies.
• Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively.
