Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the full value chain of funds and alternative investments business, joint team effort to increase the product penetration rate
  • Support product due diligence and analysis, have strong sense on fund operation, dealing, regulatory and compliance in Asia region
  • In collaboration with investment advisors, to advise clients on Funds, Hedge Funds and Private Markets products as well as asset allocation in their portfolios.
  • Active advisory and quality sales & after-sales support to all stakeholders to drive product penetration in clients’ portfolios
  • In alignment with CIO view, formulate and develop investment ideas, prepare marketing materials, ongoing fund commentary, investment pitch book, presentation decks, etc.
  • Provide timely response to the all standard queries related to Managed investments and ETFs from internal stake holders
  • Responsible for ongoing product review, platform maintenance and enhancement
  • Assist in organizing internal and external fund events, conference calls, and marketing activities
  • Produce client data analytic to increase clients’ penetration on funds and alternatives products
  • Cross-sell other managed investment products in a holistic approach

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or above;
  • Preferred with CFA or CAIA destination
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience as a fund product owner and specialist in a global institution
  • Be capable in conducting peer competitors and fund analysis independently;
  • A strong team player in all aspects including taking initiatives within the team and motivating sales activities across sales teams
  • Strong understanding traditional mutual funds, Hedge funds, Alternative investments, and ETFs
  • Exposure to Asset Management Business all major asset classes (Equities, Bonds Rates, Credit and Alternative Investments)
  • Proficiency with Excel/VBA spreadsheet analysis and Bloomberg
  • Good communication and marketing skills both oral and written in English and Chinese
  • Strong work ethics and compliance with internal and regulatory standard
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment           
  • Language prerequisite –  Cantonese & Mandarin speaking and written skill set, having Japanese skills is a plus
  • Appropriate candidates with less experience would be considered for an associate position
