Department Overview
Nomura's Global Markets department offers clients worldwide liquidity, market insights, and execution services across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities. The team's emphasis on innovation and technology ensures access to advanced trading platforms and tailored solutions. Specializing in market-making, risk management, and electronic trading, Nomura's Global Markets team has a strong global presence and is renowned for exceptional client service. Responsibilities:
• Salesperson covering Equity, fixed income and hybrid structured solutions to bank channels, securities houses, family offices, asset managers, and hedge funds
• Establishing and maintaining client relationships, specifically identifying new revenue streams across Nomura’s Greater China clients based in Singapore
• Partnering effectively with colleagues (traders & structurers) to deliver the full extent of the firm’s Equity and fixed income products & capabilities and expand our client base.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, it is essential that the candidate is be able to build out revenue streams with Nomura Singapore’s Greater China clients. Therefore, the below is required;
• Minimum of 4 years of sales or structuring experience covering Greater China financial institutions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience covering onshore institutional clients in China.
• Strong understanding of China’s regulatory environment
• Minimum of 6 months of experience covering hedge funds in Singapore.
