Role Description

The Business Analyst position sits within the IWM Client Experience - Front Office (CE-FO) domain that focuses on enhancing client experience, reducing operational risk, and improving front office efficiency. The team plays a strategic role in delivering client-facing initiatives and works closely with Business Management, IPAS, Operations, Compliance and Technology teams to implement solutions that improve client service delivery and operational efficiency.

 

As the Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of driving change and innovation within our wealth management division, working on high-impact projects that shape the future of our business around client experience. You will be required to assist in driving efficiency initiatives to improve client experience, reduce operational risk and reduce hours and efforts.

 

Responsibilities

 

Client Experience & Digital Transformation

  • Lead Client Experience Improvement Initiatives and digital platform transformations including Soft Token Implementation & migration
  • Manage Front Office Efficiency Initiatives and oversee Fee Schedule Updates
  • Execute strategic client experience projects with measurable outcomes

 

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from diverse stakeholders
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and actionable solutions
  • Perform data analysis, gap analysis, and impact assessments for system improvements
  • Facilitate workshops and ensure business-IT alignment throughout solution delivery

 

User Acceptance Testing Leadership

  • Lead UAT for digital banking and CE-FO initiatives, defining scope, objectives, and success criteria
  • Create comprehensive test plans, coordinate testing teams, and manage defect resolution
  • Track progress, escalate issues, and provide UAT sign-off upon meeting quality standards

 

Project Coordination & Process Optimization

  • Support project planning, tracking, and reporting across CE-FO initiatives
  • Maintain project documentation and coordinate stakeholder engagement
  • Identify automation opportunities and streamline client services processes
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and monitor operational risk metrics

 

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in Finance or Business
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business analyst function with demonstrated focus on client experience and front office operations in wealth management
  • Minimum of 3 experience with Avaloq core banking system
  • Proven track record in project coordination and execution within financial services environment
  • Experience with workflow management tools such as JIRA, Confluence or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks applicable to wealth management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn risk management software and tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and multicultural awareness
