Function Overview
The Derivatives team in Singapore is involved in handling the OTC Derivatives and Structured Notes lifecycle events for wealth clients. This will also include Long-form confirmation drafting for structured OTC trades and the oversight of offshore activities that are performed by our vendors and offshore branches.
Role description
• Handle lifecycle activities and ensure day to day BAU process on OTC events for all markets are processed accurately and timely. (Equity Accumulators, Decumulators, Options, Structured Swaps and Notes).
• Ensure that the client Long-form confirmations are sent on a timely basis.
• Follow-up with counterparties on trade discrepancies &/or liaise with IWM Execution desk to resolve discrepancies.
• Handling all trade enquiries from both external and internal stakeholders.
• Perform ad hoc supports for the manager whenever applicable.
• Investigating and resolving all outstanding break items in Depot and Nostro as well as Internal accounts.
• Ensure daily day-end tasks and reports are completed with checklist signed off.
• MIS – contribute to weekly, monthly KRI/trade volume reporting.
• Review and streamline processes to improve efficiency and control.
• Participate in systems enhancements UAT and new products/initiative rollout.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
• 3-5 years in Wealth Management / Private Banking Operations for Analyst
• Experience in Structured products and OTC derivatives
• Understand the market rules and regulations for cross products.
• Versatile in excel
• Added advantage if candidate has Avaloq experience
