Team/Job Overview:

The prime responsibility of the Production Services team member is to provide 1st and 2nd line support to the trading and risk systems, covering multiple asset classes. 

You will be first line IT support for the Fixed Income Cross Asset systems, Global Risk Data Warehouse as well as the Global suite of Risk applications across Market Risk & Credit Risk.

 

Role / Principal Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for traders and risk managers for all incoming enquiries, operational issues and functional change requests.
  • Quickly analyse, assess technical/business impacts and provide actionable remediation roadmaps to stakeholders.
  • Own end-to-end support requirements for in-house Fixed Income trading systems, data warehouse platforms and risk management applications.
  • Stay resilient under high-stress production incidents; triage urgent live issues efficiently during critical outages to mitigate business impact.
  • Take full ownership of logged incidents & tickets, drive remediation end-to-end until full closure and resolution.
  • Diagnose system incidents, conduct clear cross-party communication and escalate critical issues per governance protocols.
  • Engage relevant technical and business resources to resolve all logged production issues in a timely manner.
  • Build trusted partnership with front-office business teams to develop in-depth comprehension of core trading & risk workflows.
  • Foster robust working relationships with core dependent technology teams to streamline cross-team collaboration.
  • Oversee release deployment and environment governance across the full suite of our application product portfolio.
  • Identify areas of toil and apply AI or Automation tools to optimize workload.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Windows
  • Linux
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Practical working knowledge of AWS or cloud technologie
  • Strong communication Skills in English(read, write and speak)
  • Must have strong research, investigation & evaluation skills, with a structured approach to problem solving
  • Be able to pick up new technologies and to want to develop skills extremely quickly

 

Preferred:

  • 3 to 5 years commercial experience of working within an investment bank support area.
  • Have coding experience, or familiar with automation, shell scripting, python scripting.
  • Practical usage of AI technologie.
  • Big Data system support (Dremio/ MinIO/Spark/etc.).
  • Monitoring of Productiomn infrastructure and working knowledge of TOM.
  • Knowledge of Python scripting, automation and DevOps concepts and tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Docker.
  • Familiar with ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Job scheduling technologies like Autosys.
  • The ideal candidate will be a hard working, proactive individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills. who has a desire to drive continuous improvement and the ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time.
