Role Description
·    Handle trade affirmation, confirmation, and settlement processes for OTC derivatives, bond products (including FX, vanilla & structured derivatives, bond, and futures) and Cash equities including settlement for JP stock transactions. 

·    Perform daily operational processes within the Operations department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.    
·    Prepare and review local regulatory Reports for BOK (including FX position reporting), FSS, KOFIA, KRX TR reports, and other internal management reports.
·    Support the BAU process for Client due diligence, FID, EQD, or Cash equities depending on assignments.

·    Reconcile deposits to ensure accuracy and compliance. 
·    Work closely with internal and external counterparties to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
·    Actively participate in projects and initiatives to improve operational processes and drive departmental efficiency. 

 

Skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge required:
·    Preferred experience and knowledge with various financial products and functions such as FX, OTC Vanilla & Structured Derivatives, Equity derivatives, Cash equities and fixed income bond products, cash/securities settlement and handling of Wealth management client. 
·    Expertise in Client Due Diligence processes and FID Operations, including KRW IRS CCP, equity and fixed income derivatives, and Bond/Cash eq product Confirmation, Settlement.
·    Minimum of 1 year of relevant operations experience in financial institutions, preferably with a focus on OTC derivatives, bond, cash equities operations and client due diligence. 
·    Solid understanding of Korean regulatory reporting (BOK, FSS, KOFIA and KRX TR etc.)
·    Proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
·    Strong attention to detail accuracy.
·    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a collaborative team player.
·    Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
·    Fluent in both Korean and English (written and verbal)
·    Analytical mindset with a strong sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
