Job Overview

We are seeking a  talented and driven structuring junior. The rold focuses on designing, pricing and executing financial products and solutions tailored to meet client needs, covering wide range of asset classes including fixed income, fx, credit and hybrid. The position sits at the intersection of quantitative analysis, market knowledge and client interaction, requiring strong technical expertise, creativity, and commercial acumen.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop customized structured derivatives (rates, credit, hybrid and FX) products and provide them for corporate and institutional clients.
  • Work very closely with sales and trading to understand client objectives and deliver product ideas.
  • Analyze complex financial problems and create/use quantitative models to price structured products.
  • Responsible for executing hedging transactions and monitoring risks of structured books.
  • Prepare pitch books, termsheets and marketing materials.
  • Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis and risk assessment of structured transactions.
  • Stay updated on regulatory developments and market trends.
  • Coordinate across internal teams (legal, risk, finance and compliance) to ensure smooth product approval and execution.

 

Requirements

  • Strong academic background in quantitative fields (mathematics, engineering, finance, or economics)
  • Strong knowledge in option and derivatives pricing (rates, credit, hybrid, and FX)
  • Deep understanding of financial markets
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in Excel, VBA, and at least one programming language (Python, R and similar) is strongly preferred.
  • Awareness of regulatory and capital impacts on structured transactions
  • A high level of attention to details
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English;
  • A strong sense of personal and professional integrity and teamwork;
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situations;
  • A high level of energy and a keen desire to learn new concepts.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadline
