Role description:
Processing of Confirmation, Settlement, reconciliations for various products ( e.g. FX, OTC Vanilla & Structured Derivatives, Futures, Cash eq, bonds etc ).
Operating day-to-day processing in Operations as a maker.
Prepare Local Regulatory Reporting to BOK (FX position report inclusive), FSS, KOFIA . KRX TR reports etc. as well as Firm’s management reports.
Reconciliation of Trade, Position, and balance.
Working together with internal/external counterparties and resolve issues.
Participate in projects and change initiatives.
Stock, Bond, collateral Settlement through KSD (SAFE+ system), Exture, Euroclear, Powerbase etc.
Various regulatory reporting (BOK report, FSS report, KOFIA, KRX etc)
Monthly reporting to both internal and external clients (Monthly Balance reporting etc.)
Ad hoc life cycle event management (Coupon, interest etc.)
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant operations’ experience in Banks or Securities Companies.
Preferred experience/knowledge of multiple financial products, such as, Cash eq for KOSPI and JP market, FX, OTC Vanilla & Structured Derivatives and Futures products, settlement, and confirmation process for OTC derivative products etc.
Good understanding of local regulatory reporting requirements for BOK, FSS, KOFIA, KRX TR reports etc.
Proficient in excel and ability to quickly learn internal & industry applications.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills as a team player.
Motivated, diligent learner that can work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong ability to organize, time manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
Strong focus on client service management, communication, and delivery.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong problem solving, analytical skills, and a sense of urgency within limited time frame.
Understanding impact of processes/procedures carried out on daily basis and its relation to the business and risk.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing both in Korean and English.
Comfortable with tight deadlines and pressure
