Role description:
Handle trade affirmation, confirmation, and settlement processes for OTC derivatives and bond products (including FX, vanilla & structured derivatives, bond, and futures).
Perform daily operational processes within the Operations department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Prepare and review local regulatory Reports for BOK (including FX position reporting), FSS, KOFIA, KRX TR reports, and other internal management reports.
Support the BAU process for Client due diligence, FID, or EQD, depending on assignments.
Reconcile deposits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Work closely with internal and external counterparties to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Actively participate in projects and initiatives to improve operational processes and drive departmental efficiency.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
Minimum of 1 years of relevant operations experience in financial institutions, preferably with a focus on OTC derivatives, bond operations and client due diligence.
Preferred experience and knowledge with various financial products such as FX, OTC Vanilla & Structured Derivatives, equity, and fixed income products.
Expertise in Client Due Diligence processes and FID Operations, including KRW IRS CCP, equity and fixed income derivatives, and Bond product Confirmation, Settlement.
Solid understanding of Korean regulatory reporting (BOK, FSS, KOFIA and KRX TR etc.)
Proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Strong attention to detail accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a collaborative team player.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in both Korean and English (written and verbal)
Analytical mindset with a strong sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines
