Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business. 

Division Overview:

CMT is one of the unique team Cross functional, Cross Divisional and Cross Regional team who services transformation and change for the all the Nomura business units across the world. a. Ability to define, coordinate and execute detailed E2E test plans

b. Test tools for capturing, reporting, repeating test cases.

c. Issue reporting, management, tracking tools e.g. JIRA 

d. Excellent stakeholder management and structured communication skills

e. Excellent knowledge of the trade lifecycle in an investment banking environment

f. Experience of large scale E2E change programmes

g. Attention to detail and high quality standards of documentation, processes and control environment

h. Detailed knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Visio

i. Excellent Communication, Organization and Documentation Skills

j. Ability to work under limited supervision (‘self-starter’) in unstructured environments

k. Flexibility (Openness to Change) – Adapts effectively to changing plans, domains and priorities; Is open and flexible when faced with changing project constraints

l. Overall 5+ years of investment banking/ BFSI experience, including 2+ years of test management experience

Mandatory Domain:

a. Define, Manage, Execute, Report detailed programme E2E test plans

b. Identify and engage all relevant stakeholder to ensure test planning, execution, reporting is scoped, resourced, budgeted within constraints of budget, quality and time

c. Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across internal and external client groups

Desired Domain:

a. Testing certifications

b. Familiarity of Project

c. Management Planning tools e.g. MS Project

d. Familiarity of key components of the technology stack including database technologies, messaging standards and APIs, application frameworks and programming languages, etc
