Role Description:
An excellent opportunity exists to join Nomura Asset Management International as a Sales Associate on the Internal Sales Desk. The Internal Sales team engages with financial advisors through virtual meetings, phone calls, and digital communications regarding our ETFs, mutual funds, alternative investments, and separate accounts product suite.
- As a Sales Associate, you will be a key member of our Sales team, supporting the Internal Consultants and Regional Directors to help them build market share with the financial advisors in their territories.
- You will develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of financial markets, Macquarie products and services, and the competitive landscape. This will start with obtaining the necessary FINRA securities licenses (Series 7 and Series 66).
- Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Client Relationship Management system (Salesforce), fulfilling requests coming in from the field as well as stakeholders such as the National Accounts Team, preparing hypothetical fund illustrations, maintaining a centralized shared intelligence platform, and participating in presentation opportunities.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam passed, preferred
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills, and a general willingness to grow a business through relationship-building; has a passion for selling.
- Data analysis including proficiency with Microsoft Excel
