Role Description:
We are seeking a skilled Investment Writer to partner closely with investment teams, product leaders, and marketing colleagues to translate complex market insights and investment strategies into clear, compelling, and actionable content.
This role sits within the Content Marketing & Communications team and plays a critical role in shaping how we communicate with financial advisors and institutional clients. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of capital markets and wealth management, with the ability to simplify sophisticated ideas into differentiated narratives that drive engagement, adoption, and client confidence.
You will work cross-functionally with investments, distribution, product marketing, and compliance to deliver content across owned, earned, and paid channels ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment to business priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Simplify Complexity with Clarity and Precision
Distill complex public and private market strategies into digestible, differentiated messaging that aligns with advisor needs and client outcomes. - Translate Investment Expertise into Client-Ready Content
Partner with CIOs, portfolio managers, and product teams to convert market insights, performance narratives, and portfolio positioning into clear, concise, and compelling content for advisors and institutional audiences. - Develop Advisor-Focused Content Across Channels
Write and edit content spanning thought leadership, market commentary, product narratives, emails, web, sales enablement materials, and campaign assets that are designed to drive advisor action and support client conversations. - Support Go-to-Market Campaigns
Collaborate with marketing partners to create cohesive content that supports product launches, thematic campaigns, and strategic growth initiatives. - Optimize Content for Distribution and Discovery
Contribute to content strategies that enhance discoverability across digital platforms, including website experiences, email, and search. - Ensure Consistency in Voice, Tone, and Messaging
Maintain a consistent, on-brand voice across all content, while adapting tone and messaging for different audiences (wealth vs. institutional).
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5 years of copywriting or content experience within asset management, wealth management, or financial services
- Experience communicating complicated topics in simple, non-academic, interesting terms
- Exceptional ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging, and actionable content
- familiarity with public and private markets, investment products, and advisor distribution channels
- Familiarity with digital content ecosystems and how content performs across channels
- Awareness of content optimization for engagement, distribution, and search
- Proven ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders, including CIOs and investment teams
- Comfortable navigating cross-functional environments and incorporating feedback
- Strong attention to detail, including accuracy, compliance considerations, and deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
