Role Description:
The Fixed Income Strategy and Solutions Group is centralized in the Fixed Income Investment team, driving strategy and data-driven solutions with disciplined focus on clients. This role offers exceptional growth opportunities within our ~$100bn Fixed Income platform spanning 7 investment capabilities across our global hubs in Philadelphia, New York, London, and Vienna. The International business brings together a legacy of investing in public and private markets on a global scale. Through active management, we deliver differentiated and innovative solutions across equities, fixed income, multi-asset, and private credit supported by a team of disciplined and tenured investment professionals.
This role involves three key areas:
Client Portfolio Management Support
- Assist Client Portfolio Managers who serve as extensions of investment desks, acting as the intersection between Investment, Distribution, and Product
- Support client and prospect presentations, queries, RFPs, and questionnaires across our Fixed Income suite including Corporate Bond, Emerging Markets Debt, Leveraged Credit, Municipals, Multisector & Securitized Credit, Private Placements, and Leveraged Credit
- Help develop and deliver market presentations and thought leadership materials that articulate PM views to clients, consultants, and prospects
- Support the triage of meeting requests and provide initial client engagement support
- Contribute to quarterly pitchbook updates and strategy materials, partnering with Information Services
Platform & Product Strategy
- Support strategic initiatives aligned with Fixed Income's priorities
- Conduct market/industry data analysis including competitive landscape and peer analysis to increase credibility and marketability
- Help define and implement product and vehicle solutions, ensuring strategies are positioned in proper wrappers
- Work closely with our client group and distribution partners to field requests for the investment teams
Investment Team Partnership
- Work closely with all investment teams using our dedicated coverage model: Corporate Bond, Emerging Markets Debt, Insurance, Leveraged Credit, Multisector, Municipals, Private Placements, and Securitized Credit
- Support investment teams to focus on investments by handling product and client-facing responsibilities
- Assist with investment collateral development and ensure our strategies are in the right vehicles and channels
- Assist with RFP/RFI/DDQ processes for investment team review
- Help bridge communication between investment teams and distribution channels
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
Education & Experience:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial services, investment management, or related field
- Strong interest in financial markets, investment management, and fixed income across public and private markets
- Bachelor's degree
- CFA or licensing interest
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite – PowerPoint and Excel (required)
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with experience in financial modeling and data analysis preferred
- Ability to synthesize complex investment concepts and present them clearly to diverse audiences
- Understanding of fixed income markets, credit analysis, and investment vehicles preferred
- Ability to utilize AI beyond chat capabilities (i.e., LLM, design)
