Role Description
The successful candidate will have experience as an US Treasury interest rates trader. The individual will possess good relationships with all local banks/ traders, and a track record of working within both the local banking system and in the wider international space.

Responsible for market making the entirety of the yield curve for the US primary dealership during the session. This is a requirement of our primary dealership status.

Responsible for monitoring all risk in the dealership books during that time

Regional point-person for any sales/customer inquiries and engagement

Expected to re-establish our presence in the product after employee resignation

Veteran trader who understands the need to both service our customers and protect the firm
Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required

Combination of client, franchise trading overlaid with good risk appetite.

Ambitious and self-starting approach

Demonstrable experience in developing client relationships is essential

Ability to independently research ideas and market opportunities

Capable to creating close relationships with Sales; liaising on a daily basis and providing trade and hedge ideas

Strong understanding of regulatory environment (across the currencies traded)
