Role description:

Global Wholesale operations supports Global Markets trading activity across multiple asset classes including Fixed Income, Equities, Futures & options across securities & derivative products.    The function of New Issues is to work closely and support the businesses that bring new securities to the market.   The team will partner with other corporate functions to ensure the new issue settles on value date as well as ensuring asset servicing of the security occurs as needed.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Understanding impact of processes/procedures carried out on daily basis and its relation to the business and risk
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required

  • At least 2 years of work experience within financial services preferred
  • Strong knowledge of DTCC Settlements is a plus. Additionally, Broadridge BPS, Impact, Gloss HV or similar is helpful.
  • Familiarity with Written Supervisory Procedures (WSP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Detailed Functional Lists (DLF) is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or related degree
  • Motivated, diligent learner that is able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly in Excel and ability to quickly learn internal & industry applications
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment both in office and in remote scenarios
  • Series 99 preferred or ability to obtain shortly after joining
