Job Description: Project Manager / Delivery Lead – Risk Technology

We are looking for a Delivery Lead / Project Manager with a proven ability to plan, strategize and implement risk programs globally.
Role / Principal Accountabilities:
- Primarily responsible for complete project management, planning, structuring and implementation of all its milestones and will remain the primary contact to Business and technology stakeholders.
- Accountably manage end to end aspects of project delivery – monitoring, dependencies, project risks and issues with clear mitigation paths, backed with timely communication to project stakeholders.
- Develop technology roadmaps at the project level, partnering closely with technology leads, program managers and business sponsors. Provide continous oversight in effectively managing project scope, timeline and budget
- Collaborate with technology teams, risk change organization and business towards planning and developing a clear set of project plans, resource plans, communication plans and other standard project artefacts.
- Provide clear and concise communication around the Project to all stakeholders as well as provide status reporting to IT Sr. Mgmt and Business and in other Steering Committee forums
- Be a self-motivated and strong problem-solver seeking solution options, proactively collaborating within IT in duly managing risks and issues in a timely manner
- Meet with decision-makers, systems owners, and end users to coordinate project activities via structured project meetings and working groups
- Become a trusted partner with Risk Management Business, and represent Risk Technology in key business forums and working groups in delivering project level updates with concise communication on project progress, risks / issues and mitigation paths, backed with detailed reports.
- Assist with Program management needs around planning, forecasting and prioritization exercises. Provide clear and concise project reports periodically that will feed into program level status across Senior Management steering committee meetings. Prepare and manage resource budgets and plans. Provide timely reports to PMO and CAO.
- Aggregate and shared lessons learned during project phase, towards fostering a continuous learning environment.
Skills/Experience:
- 7-10 years of practical experience of successfully delivering projects in Financial Services
- 7 -10 years of hands on Delivery management / project management experience with onshore/offshore resources
- Strong experience in distributed / cloud technology platforms Hadoop, MapR, AWS, Dremio etc.,
- Strong experience in project lifecycle and experience in Agile project management methodologies
- Working knowledge of Capital Markets with familiarity of financial products
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions
- Manage tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes across multiple deliverables
- Ability to negotiate, willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of the project
