Role Description / Areas of responsibility:

  • Managing regulatory submissions in a timely manners.
  • Interpreting regulations and communicating with the US Regulators, if needed.
  • Understanding of Market and Credit Risk management and the key concepts/metrics involved.Leverage strong foundation of various risk concepts to manage delivery of business mandatory risk related changesGood communication skills and understanding of key risk business processes to support presentation of complex topics to senior management.
  • Interprets Regulatory and providing strategic business requirements in conjunction with various Risk stakeholders to manage scoping of business requirements and delivery
  • Good team player who would be required to collaborate closely with various areas within Risk, business, IT, BAs, QA and development team throughout project lifecycle.

 

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required

·       Bachelor’s degree, or preferably Masters, in either Finance, Economics, Engineering or Business

·       At least 2-3 years of market and credit risk experience

·       Strong Analytical skills.

·       Excellent communication skills both written/verbal must.

·       Understanding of financial products.

·       Basel 2.5/3 and FRTB knowledge

·       Strong team player.

·       Experience working with various stakeholders including IT, Change management etc. would be advantageous

·       Knowledge of MS Power BI, Alteryx, Excel (including VBA Macros), Business Objects, SQL and Python/R would also be a plus.
