Role Description
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work in the Broker Dealer Regulatory Reporting Group. The associate/VP would assist in various roles within the regulatory reporting group including the following tasks:
Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of the weekly 15c3-3 Customer & PAB Protection calculations

Assist with the preparation of the Daily Net Capital estimates

Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly FOCUS reports, including supplemental schedules
-
Assist with the moth-end balance sheet analysis (including topside entry preparation) as it relates to FOCUS
-
Assist with month-end management reporting and variance analysis package presented to senior management
Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required

5+ years of experience in regulatory reporting role within financial services / broker dealer

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Strong work ethic, highly analytical, and ability to think critically

Ability to forge strong relationships with senior management, and influence initiatives

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify key risks, with sound judgement on the criticality and impact of issues raised

Strong time and project management skills, consistently delivering to deadlines (budget and time)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), proficiency in Power BI, Python or Alteryx a plus
