Regulatory Reporting Group 

 

Role Description

 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work in the Broker Dealer Regulatory Reporting Group. The associate/VP would assist in various roles within the regulatory reporting group including the following tasks:

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Assist with the preparation of the weekly 15c3-3 Customer & PAB Protection calculations

  • Assist with the preparation of the Daily Net Capital estimates

  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly FOCUS reports, including supplemental schedules

  • Assist with the moth-end balance sheet analysis (including topside entry preparation) as it relates to FOCUS

  • Assist with month-end management reporting and variance analysis package presented to senior management

 

 

Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required

 

  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory reporting role within financial services / broker dealer

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Strong work ethic, highly analytical, and ability to think critically

  • Ability to forge strong relationships with senior management, and influence initiatives

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify key risks, with sound judgement on the criticality and impact of issues raised

  • Strong time and project management skills, consistently delivering to deadlines (budget and time)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), proficiency in Power BI, Python or Alteryx a plus
