Finance Middle Office

 

Excellent opportunity for an experienced analyst to join a dedicated and collaborative team. The team interacts with sales and trading to provide trading support. This opportunity would suit an individual who has strong interpersonal skills, is responsive and has a commitment to serving their client group

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Trading support role within the Rates Derivatives Middle Office, covering the swaps and options trading desks
  • Daily trade capture and verification of all trades including: swaptions, bermudans, caps/floors, bond futures, interest rate futures, options on futures, bond options, swaps, forward rate agreements and cash bonds
  • Production and validation of risk and P&L
  • Dealing with queries and ad-hoc requests from front office, risk, compliance, finance and operations
  • Assist the Options desk in managing daily swaption, CBOT, and CME option expiry risk
  • End of day official market production – building and maintaining NGFP-NY market

  • High level of accuracy required in trade verification with minimal errors expected
  • Ability to manage multiple issues and effectively prioritize workload
  • Contribution to ongoing development of STP and control environment

 

 

Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required

 

  • 3 years of experience in a trade support / middle office role within Rates Derivatives
  • Understanding of interest rate products
  • Familiarity in dealing with risk and explain P&L
  • High level of proficiency with Excel
