Role Description:
Part-time position in the Corporate Income Tax department. Hours are between 15-20 hours generally. However, more than 30 hours are needed at times. Hours are generally flexible.
- Scanning/Copying/Organizing files
- Mailing
- Filing and other ad hoc projects involving using Excel, Word, Adobe
- Reconciling/tracking federal and state tax notices
- Preparing journal entries and other tax forms/workpapers
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- College graduate majoring in accounting/tax.
- Motivated, diligent learner who is able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and be proactive in maintaining quality/status of work
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Adobe
- Ability to work efficiently independently and in a team environment
