Role description:

  • Working within the Equities Middle Office, this role supports the Delta1 trading business.
  • Daily servicing of D1 & Prime clients. Tasks will include daily trade allocations, trade/position/cash/Pnl reconciliations, answering ad hoc client queries, agreeing swap cash flows, setting up new clients /accounts, working closely with client service/D1 traders, equity index swap setups/lifecycle management. 
  • Dealing with queries and ad-hoc requests from trading, client service, risk management, compliance, finance, technology and operations.
  • Work on projects to improve efficiency, trade flow and lower costs.
  • Coordinate with technology/change management teams in recommending changes and implementing enhancements to our trading platforms and internal reconciliations / controls.
  • Daily trade capture and verification of all trades
  • Control of trade workflow including ownership of inter-system reconciliations

 

 

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Mathematics, Finance or any related field)
  • High level of proficiency with Excel
  • Understanding and interest in the finance industry
  • Great communication skills – you will be interacting with different levels within the business and support all assets of the business.
  • Equity Swap knowledge
  • Fast learner and ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • High level of client service provided to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple issues and effectively prioritize workload
  • Eager to learn and wants to working in a fast paced environment
