Role summary
The Regional Director will focus on all private markets opportunities in the private wealth channel within the respective regions in conjunction with their generalist counterparts. This position will report into the Head of Private Markets Distribution.
Key responsibilities of the Regional Director include:
- Develop consultative relationships with the targeted financial institutions and drive revenue within their region.
- Make outbound calls, emails and meet face to face with top prospects and clients to market, educate and promote NPC’s product(s).
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge of private markets.
- Focus on private markets opportunities in the private wealth channel within the respective regions in conjunction with their generalist counterparts.
- Accountable for scheduling own meetings, booking travel, submitting own expenses and other administrative responsibilities.
Skills and experience we are looking for
At least 10 years of relevant sales experience within the private markets space and existing relationships with clients, including relevant experience in selling products in the private markets / alternatives universe.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in Economics, Finance, or related field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent planning, organization and time management skills with a proven track record of consultative skills and success
- A strong combination of sales and analytical skills coupled with a high degree of motivation and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, being comfortable in a small team, highly entrepreneurial environment – team players who contribute to a thriving team culture
- Openness to and familiarity with leveraging digital assets to drive engagement with advisors (in addition to personal interactions)
- FINRA Series 7 required
- FINRA Series 63, 65 or 66 required within 45 days
- CFA, CAIA, CIMA, or equivalent designation preferred
