Role Description:

In this role, you will:

  • Assist Institutional Sales Team in identifying new areas for business development. Work towards an active junior sales role in the short to medium term.
  • Assist the Institutional Sales team in conducting investor outreach, maintaining pipeline, scheduling meetings, preparing collateral for meeting, and follow-up materials after the meetings.
  • Assist the Institutional Sales team in sales campaigns by conducting research on asset owners and consultants, investors’ trends, fees, potential searches, replacement mandates, etc.
  • Assist the Consultant Relations team in consultant coverage (initiating or maintaining coverage, work towards improved ratings, respond to ad-hoc requests, regular reporting, etc.)
  • Maintain marketing collateral for various strategies.
  • Assist in RFP process by coordinating with RFP team, portfolio managers, product specialists, operations, legal and other individuals to insure its completion.

 

 

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 2-4+ years’ experience in working with Institutional Sales teams, Consultant Relations teams, Marketing teams, and/or Sales Enablement teams
  • Familiarity with the Asset Management landscape across the Institutional distribution channel
  • Ability to work independently and also across a dynamic team within a growth-focused organization
  • Previous experience in RFP/DDQ process helpful, but not required
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses already passed or with ability to complete the Series 7 and Series 63 licenses within 3 months of start date

*base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience.
