NCRAM is a registered investment advisor managing approximately $35 billion in fixed income assets including high yield bonds, leveraged loans, emerging markets and distressed debt. 

 

 

Role Description / Areas of Responsibility


Nomura Corporate Research and Asset Management (NCRAM) is looking for an VP level High Yield bond analyst. This is a buy-side role.

An analyst for the High Yield group will join a 22-person team and will take on responsibility for one or more industries over time. The primary focus is high yield bonds; however, the analyst will make investment recommendations for the entire capital structure and for a variety of strategies: total return US high yield, higher quality US high yield, and European high yield.

The analyst will perform bottom-up research that requires thorough analysis of economic and industry trends, financial statement analysis and knowledge of the markets. A key feature of the NCRAM position is that analysts, over time, will cover a variety of sectors, so he/she will be able to gain exposure to many different companies.

 

 

Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required

 

  • 6+ years of experience in high yield analysis
  • Experience covering Retail, Consumer, and Wireless Telecom products is a plus
  • Strong academic qualifications
