NCRAM is a registered investment advisor managing approximately $38 billion in fixed income assets including high yield bonds, leveraged loans, emerging markets and distressed issues. 

 

 

Role Description / Areas of Responsibility


Nomura Corporate Research and Asset Management (NCRAM) is looking for an Analyst or Associate level High Yield bond analyst. This is a buy-side role.

An analyst for the High Yield group will join a 23-person team and will take on responsibility for one or more industries over time. The primary focus is high yield bonds; however, the analyst will make investment recommendations for the entire capital structure and for a variety of strategies: total return US high yield, higher quality US high yield, and European high yield.

The analyst will perform bottom-up research that requires thorough analysis of economic and industry trends, financial statement analysis and knowledge of the markets. A key feature of the NCRAM program is that analysts, over time, will cover a variety of sectors, so he/she will be able to gain exposure to many different companies.

 

 

Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required

 

  • 0-5 years of experience in high yield analysis, or similar financial analysis
  • Strong academic qualifications
  • Candidates from related backgrounds such as investment banking or equity research are encouraged to apply

 

 

*base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience.
