Department overview:
The Early Careers Team sits within the HR department and is split across four segments: Investment Banking, Global Markets, Corporate Functions, and Information Technology.
Role description:
- Reports to the International Head of Talent Acquisition
- Manage and develop the Americas Early Careers recruitment team
- Lead Early Careers recruitment strategy across Americas region (Investment Banking, Global Markets, Corporate Functions, and Information Technology), aligning hiring outcomes with the firm's long-term talent and business objectives
- Oversee operational execution of internship and graduate program hiring from attraction through onboarding
- Act as regional subject-matter expert, providing strategic guidance and market insights to business stakeholders
- Drive innovation in assessment, selection, and program structure to meet evolving business and talent needs
- Partner with global Early Careers leadership in EMEA and Asia Ex. Japan to deliver consistent, high-quality candidate experience while adapting to local market requirements
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and HR partners to forecast hiring demand and design scalable talent pipelines
- Develop and lead Early Careers attraction strategies across the Americas region
- Monitor and drive candidate conversion throughout the offer process, partnering with business and recruitment teams to secure acceptances
- Use data and market intelligence to assess hiring effectiveness and continuously improve program design and delivery
- Compile and analyze recruitment metrics, track offer-to-acceptance ratios, and provide regular reporting on hiring volumes, conversion rates, and program performance to business and HR leadership
- Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and local employment legislation
Key objectives critical to success:
Along with proven recruitment experience (ideally campus recruitment), we are looking for a driven individual who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment and building strong relationships at all levels.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- 6+ years of Early Careers Recruitment experience, preferably at a financial institution
- Min of 2 years of management experience
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Strong communication and relationship management skills; client-facing and credible with ability to develop internal and external relationships
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage diverse stakeholders and build networks quickly
- Results-orientated: ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients
- Proven Project Management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities and project plan on an annual basis
- Forward thinking; ability to foresee the impact of emerging trends/patterns
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Positive attitude, flexible mindset a strong team player, who is willing to roll up their sleeves
- Able to thrive in a deadline-driven and fast paced environment
- Ability to travel as required
