The HR Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the organization’s human resources functions.  You will interact with employees within the Americas Wholesale business providing proactive guidance and direction on people issues and efficient HR service delivery in partnership with HR Specialist teams.
 

 

Role Description

 

  • Support Americas Global Markets and Corporate Functions HRBP team to develop and maintain an effective and focused relationship with the client group, providing timely and accurate advice and support on all HR related issues
  • Be an active member of the wider Americas HR department and coordinate with the HR teams based in Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong and EMEA in order to provide support to Global business heads based in New York
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including, but not limited to compensation, immigration, leaves, performance and talent management. productivity, recognition, and reporting.
    • Learning & Performance - support the HRBP team with performance management cycle and promotion process, contribute to the development of Wholesale Talent Management offering in collaboration with specialist colleagues
    • Recruitment & Resourcing - assist is the coordination of new hire and internal transfers
    • Immigration/Mobility – coordinate and manage immigration and mobility issues
    • Compensation, Benefits and MIS/HRIS- Support the year-end compensation process and ensure data integrity and timelines are met
    • Reporting – Coordinate reporting needs and ensure data integrity across Global Markets businesses which will foster data driven business decisions.
    • Analyze large data sets in fast paced environments: extract trends and themes, identify issues and provide solutions from analysis to better support business operations and drive efficiencies
    • Self starter who can suggest improvements to policies and practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness
    • Work with the wider HR team to support additional areas of focus (e.g. Graduate Recruitment, Talent Management, Diversity and Inclusion and Wellness)

 

 

Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required

 

  • 3+ years in a HR Operations / HRBP support role 
  • Degree or equivalent
  • HR professional who is able to operate confidently with senior level clients in a challenging, fast paced environment
  • Providing support and advice on all HR disciplines (Recruitment, Reward, Employee Relations, Learning and Performance)
  • Experience within the professional or financial services sector, specifically with front office clients
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships as a trusted advisor to a demanding client group
  • Commercial awareness and ability to evaluate people risk
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and relationships
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong PC skills; Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Strong attention to detail

 

 

*base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience.
