Position Overview

 

We are seeking a motivated Associate Developer to join our global tools team in US, working closely with our business stakeholders within Equities and Prime Finance. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your technical skills across multiple technologies while working in an agile environment and close to the business.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and maintain applications using Python, React, and Java under guidance from senior team members

  • Assist in implementing database solutions and data models

  • Help monitor and optimize application performance

  • Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitLab

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements

  • Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards

  • Collaborate with team members on technical solutions

 

 

Required Experience & Skills

 

  • Comfortable in Python development

  • Working knowledge of React.js fundamentals

  • Understanding of basic database concepts

  • Familiarity with Java development

  • Understanding of version control with Git

  • Willingness to learn DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent practical experience

  • Experience with modern development tools and practices

  • Interest in financial services/investment banking

  • Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Eager to learn and accept feedback

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
