Role Description / Responsibilities


Nomura Corporate Research and Asset Management (NCRAM) is looking for a Front-End Developer – Associate level.

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of desktop applications for our in-house business platform. This high-visibility role will be supervised by the System Architect and requires a motivated, responsible individual with a passion for programming and a willingness to learn.

 

  • Develop and maintain C# WPF GUI applications

  • Implement provided requirements efficiently and accurately

  • Collaborate with the system architect and other team members

 

 

Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required

 

  • 3+ years of experience in Front-End Development

  • Proficiency in C# and WPF technology

  • Strong experience in Windows desktop GUI application design

  • Expertise with Microsoft Visual Studio

  • Familiarity with Infragistics controls

  • Solid understanding of SQL Server queries and T-SQL

  • Familiarity with Entity Framework

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Understanding of SOA and microservices architecture

  • Web development skills (websites and web services)

  • Knowledge of Blazor and Infragistics Web controls

  • Experience with Microsoft Blend

  • Experience with Entity Framework Extensions Library

  • Familiarity with messaging platforms, particularly Solace

  • Experience with Alteryx report development is a plus

  • Conceptual understanding of Elastic Stack platform (Elastic Search / Kibana)
