Role Description:
- Prepare monthly analysis of Corporate results for senior management providing in-depth financial analysis and insights on key variance drivers; including verifying accuracy of month end postings, analyzing transaction details
- Prepare firm wide management reporting for weekly, monthly, and quarterly deliverables providing high level commentary to both regional management and global counterparts to explain key expense movements compared to benchmarks
- Liaise with business managers assisting them during the annual budget process, providing management reports monthly, and responding to ad-hoc requests as needed to support business managers
- Assist with Corporate allocation process on a quarterly basis, working with global teams and internal stakeholders on changes to existing keys, quantifying impact of key changes to the business, conducting monthly analysis on key drivers of variances compared to budget
- Manage the execution and delivery of the Americas budget by partnering with divisional CAOs to highlight trends for baseline metrics, identify saves and investment areas, and design reporting to track variances to targets
- Build checks and controls to ensure accuracy in reports and implement automation/efficiencies into existing processes as needed
- Assist with ongoing projects and initiatives within the finance division
- Participate in firm’s daily revenue flash reporting to senior management
- Participate in quarterly reporting for Finance COO office with headcount management and expense reporting.
- Help with invoice submission and accrual tracking for Finance division.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- 1+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience preferred
- Prior experience working within financial services sector is a plus but not mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field
- General Accounting Knowledge (no CPA required)
- Microsoft Office (specially Excel, PPT, Word)
- Experience with Oracle: Hyperion / Essbase (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and communicate summary findings
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn, with demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts and business processes.
