 Role Description / Areas of Responsibility

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Delta One Trader to join our Equities Trading team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of equity derivatives, ETF trading, and arbitrage strategies, with a proven track record in managing risk and generating P&L in delta one products. This role involves real-time trading, strategy development, and collaboration with sales, research, and technology teams.

 Key Contribution Areas Critical to Success

  • Execute and manage trades across delta one products, including ETFs, equity swaps, futures, and custom baskets
  • Identify and implement arbitrage and relative value opportunities
  • Monitor and hedge risk exposures in real time
  • Work with quant and technology teams to improve trading tools and automate strategies
  • Collaborate with sales to provide pricing, liquidity, and client solutions
  • Maintain awareness of market developments and regulatory changes affecting delta one products

 Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in delta one trading or related roles
  • Strong understanding of equity derivatives, pricing models, and market microstructure
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Excellent risk management, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with market-making and proprietary trading strategies
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in global markets
  • Experience using trading systems such as Bloomberg, Fidessa, or in-house platforms
