Department overview:

Corporate Real Estate Services (CRES) provides premises related support service to ensure the efficiency and productivity services to the company.

 

Role description:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with CRES managers to develop comprehensive annual capital and operating budgets for the Americas CRES Department portfolio.
  • Analyze monthly CRES budget figures and develop management reports to illustrate variances (monthly and Y-T-D)
  • Spearhead annual budget process by managing the following:
    • Analyzing historical trends for individual cost centers and business units throughout the CRES organization;
    • Work with various  business managers to understand investment needs for the following year and changes to run rate
    • Understand account structures to ensure budget accuracy for costs
    • Interact with local and global Finance teams to submit CRES budgets in a timely manner and in the required format
    • Working with expense team to update fixed asset depreciation assumptions as needed and incorporate new purchases
  • Coordinate the monthly attestation report (thru PeopleSoft)
  •  Enter all CRES related purchases/requisitions into PeopleSoft ensuring the proper cost center and product/service description is utilized.
  • Assists in developing budgets for large scale construction projects as needed and effectively track progress throughout the duration of the project by updating global teams with updated timeline/Investment Spend estimates

 

Skills / Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in an accounting, sourcing or similar role
  • Bachelor degree in business Accounting, or a similar area
  • Must be fully versant in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Experience with PeopleSoft  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to create detailed budget management reports and waterfall documents to effectively present budget reports.

 

*base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience.
