Acting as a strategic partner to business heads, the role leads financial planning, operating model design and transformation for the business, balancing Revenue Operations (RevOps) and Financial Operations (FinOps).
Where the Business Head focuses on high-level strategy, external relations and long-term vision, the COO is accountable for internal execution — ensuring the division's daily functions align with strategic goals. The COO function enables front-office Sales/Bankers to focus on client service and deal execution while operations run efficiently, controls remain robust, and the business delivers against its commercial, regulatory and strategic objectives.

- Serve as strategic partner to the Head of Risk Solutions, Americas, supporting Sales team
- Cover the full product suite spanning Fund-level hedging, Asset-level hedging, Share-class hedging, Deal-contingent hedging etc.

Business Strategy & Execution
- Partner with the Head of Risk Solutions Group and senior Salespersons to shape and implement strategic initiatives, translating business strategy into operating procedures, execution plans and measurable KPIs.

- Lead the new-product approval process and partner with deal teams on new-transaction committee approvals.
Financial Management & Commercial Leadership
- Formulate the revenue and capital budget, forecasts and medium-term plans, and oversee P&L management, cost allocations and budgeting.

- Manage and control expense policies, cost-efficiency initiatives and overall expense planning to support business profitability, optimizing resource allocation while maintaining productivity.
- Create, manage and monitor business metrics for individual Salespersons to measure performance and inform decisions on client coverage and segmentation, firm revenue targets and business profitability.
- Partner with Global Markets to manage financial resources and balance sheets, optimizing returns and efficiencies using metrics such as return on assets (ROE), risk-weighted assets (RWA) and internal capital measurements.
- Monitor Risk exposure reporting evaluating portfolio concentration using key business metrics like MPE and LEQs across sectors, ratings, client types etc.
Operational Efficiency & Business Management
- Supervise and troubleshoot front-to-back business operations, process management and the IT support model, ensuring seamless execution of RSG transactions and reducing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Direct cross-functional delivery in partnership with Corporate divisions to execute strategic initiatives across a multitude of internal processes.
Regulatory, Risk & Governance
- Oversee regulatory and risk programmes, strengthening operational resilience and compliance, and ensuring adherence to global and regional financial regulations (e.g., CFTC, EMIR, etc.) and to industry and regulatory change.
- Execute and support key compliance, ESG, regulatory, risk, audit and operational initiatives and policies; act as a first line of defense.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance and Risk to manage operational risks and internal controls, and lead initiatives on governance, internal audits and regulatory reporting.
- Uphold a fair, impartial and honest appraisal of issues, disputes and inconsistencies across teams, divisions and regions.
