Role Description
-
1st/2nd line execution support (over phone, email, Bloomberg, in person) to internal & external futures trading client base. Issues range from order/trade queries, FIX issues, limit setup, front-end EMS functional queries, exchange queries, ad-hoc business requests

T0 Order Flow monitoring for order failures & rejections

Global Order Book Reconciliation during incidents & periods of outage

On-boarding new futures clients
-
Manage Client/Vendor FIX onboarding process front to back from UAT to Production go-live

Maintain and Adjust existing client configuration on a needs basis

Verify trade executions for clients / traders when queried
-
Risk limit adjustment and maintenance for Futures & Options clients
-
Facilitation of Compliance, Internal Audit and/or Operational Risk investigations and requests

Collaborate with developers to resolve system design deficiencies and delivery of enhancements

Exchange administration: order status, trading key management, exchange side limit adjustments
Skills, Experience, Qualifications & Knowledge required

This is a client-facing technical role with heavy exposure to front office personnel. Must have a strong client orientation and show a high sense of urgency towards client needs.

Candidate should be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and able to suggest opportunities for increasing efficiency and improving team processes

Familiarity with global futures and options products and business, or similar Asset Class

Understanding of / Previous exposure to FIX protocol / UNIX

Background in integration and electronic on-boarding of clients in a trade floor environment

Detail-oriented approach to solving problems with strong sense of ownership

Knowledge of risk systems

Understanding of trading lifecycle

Exposure to execution algorithms and ability to explain benefits to clients

Supporting client relationships in cooperation with Sales team. Involving solution deliveries, client training, system demos, issue resolution and follow-up

Preferred Requirements:

Execution systems experience: Bloomberg EMSX, Bloomberg Tradebook, Trading Technologies, Fidessa, etc

Ability to work with external parties such as vendor and exchanges ensuring open issues are followed up and resolved in a timely manner

Prioritize business driven changes and deliver to successful completion

Solid knowledge of Excel / Robust data manipulation abilities

Python or similar scripting skills for process automation and data handling a plus

Effective Documentation writing skills for drafting of / contribution to procedural documents, wiki, etc
