Responsibilities: 

The Macquarie Asset Management Accounts Payable Manager role is responsible for managing all aspects of paying vendors and processing expense reports.  MAM is a 700 employee company coming under Nomura on November 1, 2025 without any A/P support.  Majority of A/P and T&E volumes are in the US, but also in Europe.

  • Assist with the integration of all vendor data from Coupa (legacy system) to Peoplesoft (Nomura system)
  • Establish vendor onboarding procedures for ongoing business, including interaction with third party risk management and KYC
  • Develop strong relationships with MAM service owners
  • Train MAM employees on using Peoplesoft for entering payment vouchers
  • Set up workflow in Peoplesoft for payment approval structure
  • Ensure the proper set up in Concur for MAM employees to continue to use this software for expense reimbursements
  • Manage a team of third-party outsource service providers in India for back-end processing of vendor payments and T&E’s
  • Responsible for 1099 reporting for stub period in 2025, and annually starting in 2026.

 

 

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • 10+ years of A/P experience, including management role(s), financial services industry preferred but not required
  • Experience with Peoplesoft (Version Oracle 9.2) and Concur required
  • Excellent communication skills and the willingness to get involved in global projects
  • Some accounting knowledge required for oversight of manual journal entries
  • Bank reconciliation experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with all payment processes (wire transfer, ACH, checks)
