Department overview:
Americas HQ Business Management is responsible for the delivery of regional cross-functional initiatives. The team provides consistent governance and oversight and is not functionally aligned, thereby ensuring impartiality when servicing multiple functions. The team works very closely with Global Markets, Risk, Legal, Compliance Finance, Operations and IT.
Nomura is looking to hire a temporary executive assistant to provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership by managing schedules, communications, and office operations while serving as a key point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders.
Role description:
- Manage multiple calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Handle confidential correspondence, documents, and communications
- Coordinate and organize meetings, conferences, and events
- Screen phone calls, emails, and visitors
- Manage expense reports and handle basic accounting tasks
- Serve as liaison between executive and other departments/external contact and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow
Skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge required:
- 8+ years of experience in an administrative role in financial services, ideally at an investment bank.
- 3+ years of experience specifically dealing with senior /c-level management suite.
- Motivated, diligent learner that is able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exemplary planning and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Bachelors degree required.
- Proficient in MS Office
