The Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) Department specializes in structuring, originating, and managing innovative securitization solutions tailored to meet the unique financing needs of diverse asset classes. Within the department, the Digital Infrastructure division focuses on supporting the rapidly evolving digital economy by facilitating capital market access for essential infrastructure assets such as data centers, fiber-optic networks, telecommunications towers, and edge computing facilities.

Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President or Director of Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) with a specialization in digital infrastructure to join our team. This role is pivotal in structuring, originating, and managing ABS transactions backed by digital infrastructure assets such as data centers, fiber networks, wireless towers, and edge computing facilities. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in structured finance and digital infrastructure to drive business growth and deliver innovative financing solutions.
Job Duties:
- Lead the origination and structuring of ABS transactions backed by digital infrastructure assets
- Collaborate with clients to develop tailored financing solutions for their digital infrastructure needs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and investor guidelines throughout the structuring process
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the digital infrastructure sector
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the firm’s presence in the digital ABS market
- Stay updated on market trends, technological advancements, and competitive dynamics in digital infrastructure
- Oversee the performance of ABS portfolios, ensuring asset quality and compliance with transaction covenants
- Conduct due diligence on underlying assets, assessing risk factors and evaluating creditworthiness
- Work closely with risk management teams to ensure adherence to internal risk policies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with issuers, investors, rating agencies, and other key stakeholders
- Represent the firm at industry events, client meetings, and investor roadshows to showcase expertise in digital infrastructure ABS
- Prepare and deliver presentations on transaction structures and market insights
- Mentor and lead junior team members involved in ABS transactions and analysis
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and trading
- Act as a subject matter expert on digital infrastructure and structured finance within the organization
Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation preferred
- 8–12 years of experience in structured finance, ABS, or related fields within an investment bank, asset management firm, or financial institution
- Strong knowledge of digital infrastructure assets and their unique financing needs
- Expertise in structuring and managing ABS transactions, including financial modeling and documentation
- In-depth understanding of digital infrastructure sectors, including data centers, fiber networks, and telecom assets
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and client relationships
