Division Overview:

The electronic Fixed Income offering at Nomura is a critical component of our business. Electronic trading volumes in the industry continue to grow and offer clients an efficient means of execution.
Business Unit Overview:
The Fixed Income Electronic Trading team is responsible for managing Nomura’s Rates and Credit Electronic trading offering. This primarily means overseeing client distribution, analysing client RFQ data on electronic trading platforms and electronic trading activity. The team supports businesses globally and there is heavy interaction with sales, trading, technology, and external clients/vendors.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Design and build interactive dashboards and data visualizations to communicate market insights, trading patterns, and performance metrics to senior stakeholders and business leaders.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to develop data-driven strategic presentations, analytical reports, and client pitch materials using advanced visualization tools (Tableau, KX Dashboards, etc.).
- Develop, maintain, and optimize relational databases, data pipelines, and automated reporting tools to track real-time market data, trading metrics, and performance KPIs.
- Write SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, transform, and analyze large volumes of trading and market data for client engagements and internal reporting. Provide analytical support for client engagements including data analysis and research.
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of all analytical outputs and reporting systems.
