The electronic Fixed Income offering at Nomura is a critical component of our business. Electronic trading volumes in the industry continue to grow and offer clients an efficient means of execution.

 

 

Business Unit Overview:

 

The Fixed Income Electronic Trading team is responsible for managing Nomura’s Rates and Credit Electronic trading offering. This primarily means overseeing client distribution, analysing client RFQ data on electronic trading platforms and electronic trading activity. The team supports businesses globally and there is heavy interaction with sales, trading, technology, and external clients/vendors.

Role & Responsibilities:

 

 

      • Responsible for working with regional product management team to perform monthly client research, etrading market share analysis to grow the franchise.

 

  • Responsible for working with regional team for performing analysis around trading patterns and client trading behaviour.
     
  • Generate Monthly reporting to management.

 

  • Lead new initiatives aimed at streamlining processes and creating efficiencies within the function.
     
  • Manage key projects by adhering to deadlines that impact Nomura’s electronic trading offering.

 

  • Management of relationships with external and internal stakeholders to maintain an optimal

 

      • Partner with local team to work with data, manipulate it and draw desirable conclusions.

  • Knowledge of OTC and Cash Fixed Income products and markets is desirable – as is exposure to electronic trading.

  • Excellent team work and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders and interact with all levels of individuals in the business.
