Division Overview:
Global Markets Division: Based in Mumbai, the front-office team which works on a team extension
model delivers pricing, modelling and risk management expertise to the Global Markets business.
Founded as a centre of excellence, the group leads the way in price discovery and portfolio optimization
techniques and is integral to the business’ aggressive revenue targets. The team is playing an integral
role in structuring, pricing, risk management and new idea generation.
Business Overview:
The team works with structuring, sales and trading teams to deliver bespoke solutions to clients’
hedging / investment requirements in asset classes such as Foreign Exchange, Rates, Hybrids, Credit
and Equity. It involves pricing structured payoffs, preparing marketing material for the sales/structuring
team, suggesting new trade ideas to the sales team.
Position Specifications:
The FID Structuring team is looking for a tech professional who can work closely with the business to
help set up, productionize, and maintain a robust automation infrastructure to meet its daily reporting,
pricing and monitoring requirements. It would require a combination of a design-focused development
attitude (to create scalable and flexible solutions) and a support temperament (prompt in diagnosing
issues and fixing them). Her/his work would not just involve creation of robust technology solutions but
also have a good understanding of the business goals and logic associated with the task at hand. While
working closely with the Structuring team, it is expected that he/she would, over time, learn and pick up
knowledge around the business itself.
Note that the position doesn't have a fixed boundary and would provide ample opportunity for any selfmotivated
individual to move up the ladder and understand the world of structuring gradually while
providing support and development solutions to the business.

Experience 3 – 7 years
Qualification B.E/B. Tech/MCA/M. Tech
Role & Responsibilites:
Design and build robust analytical toolsets – efficient, reusable and scalable solutions for daily business ‘reporting’ and ‘monitoring’ requirements
Maintain and support the automation infrastructure
Able to do ETL and processing of large datasets using data-analytic tools and visualization tools / dashboards (PowerBI)
Deliver high quality code within the committed deadlines. Adhere to the best coding practices that reduce technical debt
Self-drive to identify gaps and strengthen current processes and controls
Deep dive on new technologies / solutions in exploratory phase. Propose and demonstrate workable solutions through POCs
Understand business requirements and exhibit good balance between speed of delivery v/s robustness of solutions.
Strong work ethics and communication skills
Able to collaborate internally with teams within Global Markets and across divisions
Key Skills:
Mandatory:
A minimum of 3 years of work experience with Python, Excel, VBA
Experience with Relational and/or no-SQL Databases
DevOps concepts: unit testing, Source control (Git), CI / CD
Good analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities and capable of learning new technologies quickly
Self-motivated and attention to detail
Desired:
1+ years of experience in any structured low level programming language – (C++, Java, C#)
Basic knowledge of technical architecture, design patterns
Knowledge of dashboard / Visualization tools eg PowerBI is a plus
Experience with ETL tools, data manipulation and data analysis
Basic understanding of financial products and pricing theory is good to have.
